A new Mac OS X Trojan is making the rounds, installing an adware plug-in that renders ads on Web pages to generate revenue for its author.

Dubbed Trojan.Yontoo.1, it is the most prominent of an increasing number of adware Trojans making the rounds, according to Russian antivirus company Dr. Web, the same company that discovered the Flashback virus last year.

Attackers have long had an affinity for having their way with Android phones, but the hammer seems to have really come down over the last few months when it comes to devices manufactured by Samsung.

Independent Italian researcher Roberto Paleari discussed several bugs he recently found in Samsung Android phones in a post on his blog yesterday. Paleari claims that after taking some time to sit down with some of his devices, he found six exploitable bugs on older devices such as the Galaxy Tab and the newer Galaxy S3.

South Korea hit by cyber attack.

An article  from  Ehacking News  on South Korea being  hit by cyber attack:  Yesterday South Korea was hit by a massive cyber attack . The attack disturbed the functioning of three banks and two TV channels. The bank were hit such that no financial transactions can be made.

The TV channels were affected by locking their computers hence not allowing the TV channels to edit or function to full efficiency.The attack points towards North Korea which only days ago said it will attack South Korea.

A DHL delivery which is nothing but malware – Windows users warned of email attack

The trick, which is an old one, goes like this.

Cybercriminals spam out an email, with forged header information, tricking you into believing that it is from a shipping company like DHL or FedEx.
