# Cyber Security Agenda for the Next President

The Obama administration has implemented a number of [cybersecurity](http://www.govinfosecurity.com/cybersecurity-c-223) and [privacy](http://www.databreachtoday.com/privacy-c-151) initiatives aimed at making IT more secure for the federal government and the private sector. Those include the [cybersecurity framework](http://www.databreachtoday.com/interviews/whats-next-for-cybersecurity-framework-i-3033), [National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace](http://www.databreachtoday.com/interviews/limited-government-path-to-nstic-i-1124), employing [encryption](http://www.govinfosecurity.com/encryption-c-209) and sharing cyberthreat information.
